By submitting your photo(s) (“Submission”) to the Benton Life Photo Contest, you hereby agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Full image release licensing: Upon submission, you grant an irrevocable license for use of all rights, title, and interest to Benton County. This means Benton County may use submitted photos for any purpose, including but not limited to promotional materials, social media, websites, reports, and other county-related purposes, in perpetuity.
2. No Compensation: You acknowledge and agree that no financial compensation or other consideration will be provided for the use of your photo(s).
3. Original, Unaltered Work: You affirm that the photo(s) you submit are your original work. No third party may own or control any materials the photo contains, and the photo must not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person. The photo must be in its original state and cannot be altered in any way, including but not limited to removing, adding, reversing, or distorting subjects within the frame. Images generated by AI are not allowed.
4. Consent for Depictions: If your photo(s) contain recognizable individuals, you affirm that you have either the right to use the photos of the person(s) or have obtained appropriate consent from those individuals for their image to be used as described above. Consent in writing is best.
5. Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Benton County from and against any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your submission, including but not limited to any copyright or privacy disputes.

By continuing to submit an entry in the Benton Believes Photo Contest, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
